Hida-Takayama & Ise-Shima Pass Guide

Ten discount passes cover Hida-Takayama and Ise-Shima. Here is what each costs, whether a child fare exists, what is included, and how it compares with buying regular tickets — as far as the operators actually publish it.

The cheapest pass is not the answer

The Hida-Takayama 2-Day Free Bus Pass costs 1,000 yen; the Hida Area Free Pass costs 12,370 yen. They are not alternatives. The first covers only city buses once you are in Takayama; the second includes the limited express round trip from Nagoya. Sorting passes of different coverage by price leads people to the wrong one, so this site groups them by what they cover and never mixes the groups.

About this information

Every price and condition here was checked against the operator's own website, and each page shows the date it was checked. Where the operator does not publish something, we say so rather than guessing. Links go only to the operator's official page, never to resellers.
